Seasons of the Soul

Imbolc: 31st January 2026

Welcome to “Seasons of the Soul” a transformative series of workshops designed for you to reconnect with the natural cycles and ever changing energies of the seasons. We will explore our relationship to the land, time, the effects of industrialisation and creativity and how they affect us today in this increasingly chaotic and unpredictable world, during this time of remembering and transformation.

During these five seasonal gatherings we shall honour key Celtic' celebrations and embark on a journey into our shared history as human beings in relationship with the earth; as we begin to weave a revolution of reconnection and reunion with our incredible living world.

This programme is inspired by: -

The Celtic Wheel

The radical history of Greater Manchester

The Peak District

Poet, artist and visionary William Blake

Ley line energy

Local myth and folklore

Imbolc

In this first session we will introduce you to the Celtic Wheel of the Year, focussing on Imbolc, meaning “in the belly”, learning about the Goddess Bridgit, her association with this time of the year and to her connections to the North of England.

We will also explore our industrial history and experience weaving as we connect to our power to birth a new world in alignment with the web of life

Join us!

What to expect from these sessions?

To reconnect with the natural rhythms of the seasons, celebrating the key transition points

Explore new perspectives of our local area’s radical and diverse history ranging from Neolithic times to the present day

Deepen your connection to yourself through meditation, drumming, myth and storytelling, allowing us to weave a new story for ourselves

We will create a space to allow us to slow down from the everyday pressures of life, where our true natures can emerge
